Purpose: To provide a platform for youths to serve the community, provide a social network, as well as the opportunity to develop leadership skills under the guidance of the GAMA group.
Inclusion for GYG
- In 9th grade or above
- Member of GAMA

Interns
- First year in GAMA Youth
- Apply and be in 1 committee
- Volunteer in 2 major events(ex. Picnic, Onam etc)
- Committees Directors will choose the applicants as the Interns
- Responsibilities as delineated per committee

Junior Directors
- Need to accrue 10 hours of volunteer time in the allotted time frame
- Volunteer in 2 major events (ex. Picnic, Onam etc)
- Time Frame for 2011: April 15th 2011 to November 30th 2011
- Junior Director title will be for the following year

President/Vice-President
- GYG will elect President and Vice-President
- Responsibilities
- Organize the youth volunteers for major events
- President- will organize GYG meetings
- Vice-President- will take minutes and send to GYG
- Terms: 1 year (Jan- Dec)
- Organize social events as determined by GYG (needs approval from GYG Directors)
- Needs to be in a committee

Volunteering
- Committee Directors for each group will determine how many volunteering hours will be given for specific activity
- Each Youth will need to communicate to committee specified Directors that they are there to volunteer.
- Youths are responsible for keeping track of the volunteering hours accrued.
